Bob Johnston, MD, FDD
PERSONAL LIFE
Did you know that I also write novels and perform with a local
drama team? Three of my novels have been published and are
currently available at Barnes & Noble If you saw
this year's Nut Cracker performance at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center,
then you might have seen me perform. I was the bell-ringer who had to follow
the Nut Cracker everywhere he went.
When I am not teaching, learning, writing, performing, I like to
go bike-riding with my wife and children. I own a classic model Z14 Schwin bicycle
that was given to me by by great-great-grand mother. Believe it or not, she is still
alive and well at 114 years old. For a while now, she's been wanting to go
bike-riding with us, but my wouldn't let it. "Double G," as we call her, is a great
person to be around.
I have been married to my wife, Evelyn, for the past 28 years. Besides being the
backbone to my life, Evelyn has been and continues to be a wonderful partner to me
and great mother to our children. We have three very out-going children
(Mark, 17; James, 20, and Elizabeth, 25). We are a close family and our
children still live with us in our 7 bed-room house at Clariton Valley.
Our oldest, Elizabeth, is about to graduate from UCLA as a (you guest it)
Medical Doctor. She will be joining me at my practice. Probably on your
next visit, you might see, the new and fresh out of college packed with
knowledge of the lastest technologies, Dr. Elizabeth Johnston.
